It also has a decent-sized icemaker packed into the left-hand door, although it's not the largest I've seen.

You can adjust the shelves in both compartments to make the perfect storage solution. The GE PYE22PYNFS's interior design is good-looking, too. The LED lighting adds a nice accent. The bins for storage inside include a third shelf that can be folded down to store tall items. The drawers include temperature controls that allow you to set them to Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. The drawers are simple to shut and open however I found the plastic's textured coatings a bit hard on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with the full suite of features you'd expect from a refrigerator at this price with Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from anywhere in the globe. It also offers a lot of customization options. It also sends you notifications when the door is unlocked, when the freezer or fridge needs to be defrosted, and when the filter has to be changed.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS included Precise fill, an option available in other GE fridges that allows you to preset how many cups of water you'd like to dispense simultaneously. The fridge displays a countdown timer to reveal how much water remains, but it's not as effective as Precise fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

Designed to look like a seamless piece of your kitchen, Bosch's French-door refrigerator is an eye-catching piece. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also comes with a veggie compartment to keep vegetables and fruits fresher for longer and dual compressors to ensure the best food preservation. The ice maker is one of the top we've tested and produces pyramid-shaped ice with a low water usage. This fridge is perfect for a small household or a kitchenette that wants an attractive design and top of the highest quality food preservation.

This refrigerator was the highest-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for a few reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained stable at just a few degrees Fahrenheit and never changing more than a fraction of a degree--this is key in preventing freezer burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well. It reached the temperature it was set within an hour and remained at that temperature throughout our testing.

Bosch is a household name known for its top-quality appliances. It's therefore no surprise that Bosch's counter depth fridge Bosch counter depth refrigerator can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's Home Connect. This app allows you to monitor and control your refrigerator remotely on your tablet or smartphone. The refrigerator is pricey and has great features and functionality at a reasonable cost.

While the fridge is an incredible appliance but it's important to be aware of the limitations. It is possible to be creative with tall items because the fridge has a small shelf space. Additionally, the shelves are not completely sprillproof, and can easily be stained or damaged by sharp objects. It's simple to remove the refrigerator trays however, you must clean them regularly to prevent mold growth.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth refrigerator is a great option for those who require plenty of space in the space of a compact frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge is built with the standard French door layout, with two rows of shelving with spill-capture and a set of crisper drawers. The top shelf on the right can be folded in order to create more space for tall items. There's also a full-width drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

One of the nice things about this refrigerator is that the Ice maker is located in the freezer, making it easy to move frozen ice to the fridge to use as required. The freezer has thoughtful design elements, as well, such as sliding drawers to help you to organize the place of your items. It has a large bin for storing frozen food, and a separate bin for ice.

Another great feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. It lets you manage the refrigerator's temperature, lighting, and more via your smartphone. It's a great way to monitor and manage your refrigerator, especially if you're away from home.

The Smart InstaView feature is neat but it doesn't enhance the performance of the fridge. In fact it took a bit longer to defrost and chill food in this fridge as compared to other fridges we test. This could be due to its greater capacity.

Another issue with the doors of this refrigerator. The handles with a sunken design let shorter people open them from the bottom. However taller people struggle to close them without slamming. It would have been more effective to have front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a excellent choice for those who want to combine the benefits of a fridge with a French door with an efficient layout. It has a capacity that is higher than average for counter-depth models, and it cools evenly. It's also a bit less than the best counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which can make it an attractive option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a great choice for those looking for a French-door fridge that won't break the budget. It has a simple design that isn't as visually striking like some of the competitors, but it has enough features that make it a great choice. Its most notable characteristic is the adjustable temperature drawer, which helps keep foods such as meat and vegetables fresher for longer. It also comes with a large ice maker and a water dispenser.

Another feature that is worth mentioning is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you direct some of your fridge's cooling power into this area, so that you can keep food items that require extra attention. You can alter this feature by using the slider located on the in the middle of the drawer. You can also set the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've noticed that the generic settings work better than the specific ones.

In my tests, the temperatures of the refrigerator stayed fairly consistent across different areas of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't vary significantly from 38 degrees, and the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. That's a good performance however it doesn't be among the top in our rankings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. The fridge can be linked with a smart thermostat in order to obtain more precise readings of the internal temperature of your fridge.

The exterior of the Frigidaire is made from grey-bodied stainless that has a "smudge resistant" finish. It is capable of removing streaks and fingerprints even when compared to the glossier stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
